What you will be doing
You'll be managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel's accounting office, serving as a key financial leader for a luxury property. Your days will involve overseeing financial analysis and reporting, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, conducting asset and liability reconciliations, and ensuring accurate P&L statements. You'll also lead and mentor the accounting team, work closely with auditors, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management. Think of yourself as the financial backbone of a luxury hotel operation - ensuring every rupee is accounted for while supporting business decisions that enhance guest experiences.
What will you bring
Must-Have Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
Leadership and team management skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
Hospitality industry experience
Hotel accounting software proficiency (Opera, etc.)
CPA or CA qualification
Experience with audit processes and compliance
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Experience & Education Level
4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major required. 2-4 years of accounting/finance experience preferred, with leadership potential

This position is based out of Bangalore, but you will be working with a global luxury hospitality brand serving international guests.
